If you ever need a shelf assembled, a quilt sewn, rolls baked, or a song sung (albeit one that is made up and only sort of rhymes), my mom is the woman you need. She is a natural leader, which I’m sure came in handy as she raised seven beautiful, faithful, wonderful children (I may be a bit biased). She is very artistic and has a natural eye for color. My mother has a very strong testimony of Jesus Christ. She is her children’s inner voice, reminding them to be their best, and she is the first one we call when we need encouragement. She is also the first one her grandchildren call when they want the definition of “swirlies”, “pink bellies” and other such terms used by their parents.
